Coby Jones, Associate, Communications

Coby uses her strategic communications skills and experience to promote justice and equality through her work and writing. She believes storytelling should be at the heart of any communication strategy, and that storytelling can change the world.

Prior to joining DIAL, Coby managed the social media strategy at Women for Women International, helping to raise the profile of the organization’s work to help support women survivors of war. With Women for Women International, Coby traveled to the field in countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, and Bosnia to project manage a video production schedule and gather materials to be used across the organization’s external communication strategy. She has also worked at Vital Voices supporting women leaders around the world to bring their mission and vision to scale.

Coby has a master’s degree in International Development from the London School of Economics, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Wheaton College, MA.
