Chief Executive Officer, MTN Ghana

Selorm is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MTN, Ghana. He is a seasoned Telecoms and Financial Services business leader with over 20 years of experience with a reputation for his strong leadership, analytical rigor and business transformation skills. 


Andrew Axelrod

Chief Strategy Officer, United Nations Foundation

Andrew Axelrod serves as Chief Strategy Officer for the UN Foundation. In this role, he leads organizational strategy development, resource mobilization and allocation, business planning and implementation, and is responsible for the organization’s ongoing operational effectiveness.


Christopher Burns 

Director, Center for Digital Development

Christopher Burns is the Director for the Center for Digital Development. In this role, he leads technical teams focused on Digital Finance, Development Informatics, Digital Inclusion and advanced data and geospatial analysis, and the role they play in driving an inclusive digital economy.


Kerstin Jonsson Cissé

Head, Global Programs Unit, Sida

Mrs Kerstin Jonsson Cissé heads the Unit for Globally Sustainable Economic Development at the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency and is responsible for the implementation of the strategy on Global Action for Sustainable Economic Development, which includes support, free and fair trade, agriculture, private sector development, entrepreneurship and innovation. The unit leverages digital as a cross cutting issue and supports increased and improved access to ICTs for all on the global level.


Sabyasachi Das

Managing Director, NetLeap

Sabyasachi Das is the Managing Director at TC NetLeap Private Limited, a company that enables villagers in India to become digitally active so that internet usage brings them tangible benefits across the areas of income generation, education, health and skills training. Sabyasachi has spent 13+ years working at the cross-section of ICT in urban slums and rural India, school education, skills training and income generation focused on program design and large scale implementation at the grassroots level. He has also worked for three years in the media and entertainment industry.


Elizabeth Hernandez

Head of Government Affairs, Asia Pacific, Corteva Agriscience, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont

Elizabeth Hernandez joined Corteva AgriscienceTM, Agriculture Division of DowDupontTM, on March 1st, 2018, as Head of Government Affairs, Asia Pacific, and as an integral member of its Asia Pacific Leadership Team. She plays a pivotal role in advancing the company’s brand and reputation in the region, as it prepares to spin off from DowDuPont in June 2019.


Cees Hesp

Director mHealth Research Labs, PharmAccess Foundation

Cees Hesp is Director of the mHealth Research Labs at PharmAccess, a Dutch not-for-profit organization that aims to improve access to quality healthcare in Sub-Saharan Africa. Cees has a professional background in IT and technical writing, with over 25 years of experience. He holds an M.A. in English Linguistics (Cum Laude) from the Free University of Amsterdam.

Steven Holmes is vice president of the New Devices Group and General Manager of the Smart Device Innovation team at Intel Corporation. Holmes and his team are chartered with developing products and technologies that will enhance and extend Intel’s product portfolio into new areas of computing, and to position the company to compete and lead new growth markets going forward.


Lauren Kahn

Head of Digital Policy & Programmes, UK Department for International Development (DFID)

Lauren leads on the development and delivery of DFID’s Digital Strategy for Doing Development in a Digital World. The Strategy commits DFID to supporting an inclusive digital society, and to harnessing digital technology to tackle global poverty and deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals. Lauren heads up a multi-disciplinary team tasked with building digital capability in the international development community, shaping emerging digital policy, spearheading trailblazing digital initiatives, and brokering innovative partnerships.

Uyi Stewart, PhD

Director, Global Development, Strategy, Data & Analytics, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation

Uyi is the Director, Strategy, Data and Analytics in Global Development at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. His team is responsible for applying big data analytics to generate crossdomain insights for decision-making, while also leveraging the foundation’s data investment to create global public goods. Uyi has more than 20 years of experience in leading teams to develop and deploy innovative cognitive and artificial intelligence-based technologies that helped solve a wide variety of problems, from the use of big data to combat the Ebola outbreak via behavior change, use of data to re-engineer government processes (ease of doing business in Kenya), to real-time translations and speech systems for under-resourced languages and the pioneering of traffic-status applications in Nairobi.

Chief Executive Officer, NetHope

Lauren Woodman is Chief Executive Officer of NetHope, a consortium of 50- plus global nonprofits that empowers committed organizations to change the world through the power of technology.
