Selorm is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Digicel Haiti. Selorm is a seasoned Telecoms and Financial Services business leader with over 18 years of experience with a reputation for his strong leadership, analytical rigor and business transformation skills.

Hugh Chang

Director, MNCH, Global Development Program

Hugh Chang is the Director for Maternal Newborn and Child Health at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.  Previously, he was Director of Strategy, Planning & Management for Global Development working closely with the President and leadership team for Global Development on strategic planning, portfolio management, and coordination across the foundation’s global activities.  He currently oversees the Global Libraries program in Global Development and the development of data and analytics to support work across our global programs

Sabyasachi Das

Managing Director, NetLeap

Sabyasachi Das is the Managing Director at TC NetLeap Private Limited, a company that enables villagers in India to become digitally active so that internet usage brings them tangible benefits across the areas of income generation, education, health and skills training. Sabyasachi has spent 13+ years working at the cross-section of ICT in urban slums and rural India, school education, skills training and income generation focused on program design and large scale implementation at the grassroots level. He has also worked for three years in the media and entertainment industry.


Seema Desai

Head of Product, Zopa

Seema is Head of Strategic Partnerships at Zopa – the world’s first peer-to-peer lender and the largest in Europe. Prior to joining Zopa, Seema was Head of Mobile Money at GSMA, the global trade association for the mobile industry, where she worked with mobile network operators in emerging markets to meet the financial needs of underserved customers by delivering innovative and sustainable services via the mobile channel.

Cees Hesp

Director mHealth Research Labs, PharmAccess Foundation

Cees Hesp is Director of the mHealth Research Labs at PharmAccess, a Dutch not-for-profit organization that aims to improve access to quality healthcare in Sub-Saharan Africa. Cees has a professional background in IT and technical writing, with over 25 years of experience. He holds an M.A. in English Linguistics (Cum Laude) from the Free University of Amsterdam.

Steven Holmes is vice president of the New Devices Group and General Manager of the Smart Device Innovation team at Intel Corporation. Holmes and his team are chartered with developing products and technologies that will enhance and extend Intel’s product portfolio into new areas of computing, and to position the company to compete and lead new growth markets going forward.

Priya Jaisinghani

Director of Mobile Solutions, US Global Development Lab, United States Agency for International Development

Priya Jaisinghani is the Director of the Center for Digital Development within the US Global Development Lab for the U.S. Agency for International Development.

In this role she leads the agency’s efforts to leverage digital technologies and data analysis systems to dramatically enhance the agency’s development outcomes. She oversees programs across Africa, Asia and Latin America that increase access to the internet, promote usage of digital financial services, and integrated data systems. She also oversees USAID’s internal data analysis center which serves USAID in improved, data-informed decision making using geospatial, social media and other data analytics tools.

Jens Karberg

Advisor and Program Manager, Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency

For the past five years, Jens has worked as a Programme Manager Specialist at Sida for digital development with a focus on economic development for the vulnerable. Jens has more than 15 years of work experience in international development.


Hillary Miller-Wise

Chief Executive Officer, Esoko

Hillary Miller-Wise is CEO of Esoko, a pioneer in mobile agriculture. Prior to joining Esoko, she ran the Africa operations for Grameen Foundation, an innovator in mAgriculture, mHealth and digital financial services. She spent five years at TechnoServe running their Tanzania operations, where she developed partnerships with several mobile operators to design and deploy mAgriculture solutions.

Juliana Rotich

Co-founder BRCK

Juliana Rotich is a technologist, strategic advisor, entrepreneur, and keynote speaker. She is Executive Director of BRCK.org, a not for profit affiliate of BRCK Inc. for deploying reliable technology for the edges of society, and advocating for internet access and literacy. She drives partnerships for tackling social problems through connectivity and appropriate technology.

Rick Parnell

Chief Operating Officer, United Nations Foundation

Rick serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the United Nations Foundation and Better World Fund. Rick oversees all aspects of the Foundation’s operations, including finance, grants, budget, HR and operations. He supervises the Foundation staff of more than 300 people and ensures the efficient and effective allocation of resources to maximize the impact of a budget of more than $100 million annually. Rick, along with the CEO and Deputy CEO and the Leadership Team are responsible for creating and directing the Foundation’s core mission and activities.
